Over the summer, I went to Rome for a week, and traveled to Pompeii and Naples as well with my famiglia. It is one of those places that just by walking along the streets and sitting in a restaurant (the simple aspects), and walking through the Vatican (the more complex), I felt a sensation that is indescribable. I felt like I was home. I am not sure how that works, but it was just a strong connection that I hope everybody will be able to feel someday throughout their life.
