Adventures in Italia!

One of my all-time FAVORITE places - Italia!

Over the summer, I went to Rome for a week, and traveled to Pompeii and Naples as well with my famiglia.  It is one of those places that just by walking along the streets and sitting in a restaurant (the simple aspects), and walking through the Vatican (the more complex), I felt a sensation that is indescribable.  I felt like I was home.  I am not sure how that works, but it was just a strong connection that I hope everybody will be able to feel someday throughout their life.

Emotional Outlet #1

So, along with the many different themes of my blog, I decided it would be very necessary to have a main focus, which is something we all share - feelings.

Does anyone feel lonely at times but are fine with that?  I do not think it is a bad thing.  As long as you keep yourself emotionally, socially, physically, and mentally strong and stable, why does it matter if we need some alone time in our own mind?

In this freely opinionated world, I feel as if it is only more humane be able to sit alone in a public restaurant or to put your cellphone on silent in the back of your closet for a day in order to stay sane!  The reason there are so many self-conscious and immature people  is because they are not comfortable to be alone with their thoughts for too long.  I do not mean this to generalize, but a lot of people that fit those descriptions are that way for these reasons.

How to change this?  I haven't a clue- but my heart breaks for those that are not secure enough to be at peace with themselves. What a waste of energy! =(

What is this universe doing wrong?  There is something we are missing.  Are there breathing creatures on different planets that have defeated this problem?

Reason for Title

Strange how I already feel an attachment and sense of ownership to this blog just by changing the colors.  Weird how that works.  I apologize if I go a little out of control with colors, fonts, and sizes, but I have to try new things!

To give you a better sense of who I am, there will be many posts related to dancing and traveling soon.  Those are two of my favorite things, along with my family, but I will keep that private =).

 Of course, I almost forgot to explain why I chose the website title, "Seasonal Sunset".  I LOVE astronomy, although I know absolutely nothing about it!  I also have a huge interest in nature; stars, planets, clouds, seasons, the moon, and, obviously, the beauty of sunsets.  I thought that this title was a good representation of how even the most beautiful and intangible entities can change; maybe they do not change literally, but in our eyes they do.  Just my thoughts.
